Arsenal swapping Miralem Pjanic for Alexis Sanchez makes no sense
Gab Marcotti argues that while it might look good on paper, an Alexis Sanchez and Miralem Pjanic swap is wishful thinking. Arsenal are reported to be ready to do a swap deal that would bring Miralem Pjanic to the Emirates, with Alexis Sanchez heading to Juventus in return. Sanchez may not have signed a new contract yet, but it would be quick a shock if the Gunners were to let one of their stars leave, even in a swap deal.
