Wilshere ruled out of pre-season friendlies as Gabriel provides huge boost
Arsenal travelled to Norway today ahead of two pre-season matches without Jack Wilshere who failed to prove his fitness since sustaining a knee injury last week, however Gabriel is passed fit after overcoming tonsillitis (via Arsenal.com). Wilshere faced a race against the clock to be fit for the upcoming friendlies after a patella injury made him a major doubt for the upcoming trip ahead of the new Premier League campaign. It is thought the injury is not a serious case and is left behind as a precaution, Arsene Wenger will no doubt be quizzed on the fitness of the star midfielder at his upcoming press conference.
