Arsenal star dropped from national squad for summer competition
Follow the author on Twitter: @Attlee It appears as though Gabriel Paulista won't be going to the USA for the Copa America this summer, with the Arsenal star dropped from the Brazil squad despite being named in Dunga's provisional 40-man list. Gabriel has endured mixed success at Arsenal, flip flopping from fan favourite to pantomime villain. He showed a huge amount of promise immediately after arriving, with many calling for him to permanently replace Per Mertesacker in the starting XI. He's since fallen from grace somewhat though, with a number of high profile mistakes seeing him dropped.
