Arsenal To Challenge Liverpool For Athletic Bilbao Striker
Reports have emerged claiming that Arsenal will challenge Liverpool for Athletic Bilbao striker Inaki Williams. The Daily Mail says the Spain Under-21 international has a £15.3million release clause in his contract and Jurgen Klopp has been keeping a close eye on the Bilbao-born 21-year-old. Liverpool have competition, however, after Arsenal scouts were sent to Villarreal to watch Williams on Wednesday as he scored in a 1-0 away win in the Copa del Rey. Arsene Wenger is a fan and is mulling over a January swoop for the youngster, though Bilbao do not want him to leave.
