Arsenal To Battle Championship Clubs For League Two Prospect
Reports are out claiming that Arsenal won't get a clear run at Accrington Stanley whizkid Josh Windass. The Sun reported that the Gunners are fighting Championship sides Brighton, Fulham and Hull and League Two outfit Portsmouth for the 21-year-old son of Hull legend Dean Windass. Arsene Wenger had the midfielder watched by a scout last Saturday as Stanley beat York 3-2 in the FA Cup first round. Windass, who scored from the spot, is out of contract at the end of the season. The £1m-rated ace recently snubbed a new deal with the League Two club.
