Mertesacker Unsure If Mario Gotze Will Stay With Bayern Munich
Reports are out claiming that Arsenal defender Per Mertesacker has spoken of his admiration for unsettled Bayern Munich midfielder Mario Gotze. Gotze admits he hasn't always seen eye-to-eye with Bayern coach Pep Guardiola. Mertesacker told Welt am Sonntag: 'I'd always support him, because he sets the standard for footballing and human qualities.' Asked about Gotze's problems at Bayern, Mertesacker says he's in the dark over his friend's intentions. 'He still has two-year contract and I do not know what his intentions are.
