Arsenal Boss Arsene Wenger Convinces David Ospina To Stay
It has been reported that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has convinced David Ospina to stay. The Sunday Mirror reported that the 26 yearold goalkeeper returned immediately to London after Copa America duty with Colombia to meet with Wenger and seek assurances about his future. Ospina was with his national squad in Chile when Arsenal signed Petr Cech from Chelsea for £10million. Wenger explained to Ospina that he still rates him highly and gave him assurances that, with Arsenal competing in the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup and Capital One Cup, he will be given adequate opportunities to play first team football.
