Per Mertesacker believes the squad just had to shake off their World Cup hangovers Arsene Wenger came in for some harsh criticism last year, with some even calling time on his tenure in north London. However, with nine wins in their last ten league games the Gunners now sit second in the table with just seven games remaining. And Mertesacker believes it was all down to last year's World Cup, that he claims left some of the squad a little rusty.
