Report: Arsenal Agree Contract Extension With German Star
The Times are reporting that Arsenal and Per Mertesacker have reached an agreement over a contract extension for the defender. The 32-year-old's current deal expires in the summer but the paper reports that the World Cup winner is set to put pen to paper on a new one-year extension (via The Times). Well, he may not have played a competitive match this season but Per Mertesacker looks set to receive a contract extension. The club captain has been out since injuring his knee in pre-season but reports indicate that he is set for a new deal.
