Arsene Wenger Insists Walcott Contract Talks Underway
It has been reported that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger insists Theo Walcott has opened new contract talks. Wenger has reiterated his desire to keep the England international reassuring Arsenal fans that talks have indeed begun. Wenger told beIN Sports: “We start to negotiate with Theo to extend his contract. Personally I would like to keep him.' However, it seems Wenger has contradicted Walcott who claimed on Twitter that his full attention is solely on playing for the Gunners.
