Walcott plays down contract talk and bust up rumours
Theo Walcott has played down suggestions he stalling on a new contract and dismissed talk of a bust-up with Arsene Wenger. The England international has struggled to hold down a regular first team berth since returning from knee surgery back in November, making only five starts since the turn of the year. While fitness issues have undoubtedly played a part, Walcott's lack of game time has led to speculation that Wenger is deliberately playing hard ball with the player ahead of new contract talks.
