Newcastle United 1-2 Arsenal – REPORT
Olivier Giroud scored twice as Arsenal beat Newcastle 2-1 but the Gunners had to endure constant pressure in the second half. Giroud's two goals in four minutes had Arsenal in control at half-time but they fell apart after the break, with Newcastle promising to stage a tribute to a famous 4-4 draw between the two sides in 2011.
