Arsene Wenger: This Arsenal star reminds me of Luis Suarez
Sanchez has been deployed up front by Wenger this season ahead of both Lucas Perez and Olivier Giroud. And the Chilean has impressed, scoring five goals in his last six Arsenal games. But Wenger admits he was was not convinced by the 27-year-old as a striker at first, although he believes he is similar to Suarez. Wenger told Sky Sports: "First of all I had big competition up front. “I thought [Danny] Welbeck could play there, Giroud was playing there with different qualities and I reflected for a long time at the end of the season.
