Arsenal midfield star nearing La Liga switch
Arsenal captain Mikel Arteta is set to re-join Real Sociedad and link up with ex-Manchester United manager David Moyes on a free transfer at the end of the season, according to The Sun. The 32-year-old playmaker will be without a club this summer and looks unlikely to agree a fresh deal due to his advancing years and injury issues this term – he’s made just 12 outings. Arsene Wenger is thought to be open to keeping the silky passer despite the issues surrounding a deal, but Sociedad are interested and Arteta is open to the move.
