Key Arsenal star in Bayern Munich’s sights
German powerhouses Bayern Munich are weighing up a move for Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny as the centre-half’s contract talks in London have stalled, according to The Express. The French enforcer has been a critical member of the Gunners’ rearguard for a number of seasons and is widely regarded as the Emirates Stadium outfit’s best defender. Koscielny is in the last year of his contract with Arsene Wenger’s men, with a £90,000 per week deal on the table but not yet agreed upon. Bayern have already added Mats Hummels to their star-studded squad this summer and are reportedly eyeing the Gunners star as an option to add strength in depth at the heart of the Bavarian backline....
