Gurdiola Wants Man City To Sign Arsenal's Mikel Arteta
It has been revealed that Arsenal midfielder Mikel Arteta is a target for Manchester City. According to reports from the Mirror, incoming manager Pep Guardiola wants to make Arsenal captain Arteta part of his coaching set-up at Manchester City. Guardiola has sounded out Arteta – the two are friends after both coming through Barcelona's famous academy – who is regarded as having a bright future as a manager. Arteta, 34, who is now fully fit after injury, is expected to retire as a player at the end of the season, and has been preparing for the future by taking his badges and working at the Gunners' academy.
