Özil holds ‘shock' talks over transfer away from Arsenal
In one of the more ridiculous rumours we've heard in a while, Mesut Özil is being linked with a move to Turkish side Fenerbahce, as reported by Hurriyet (via the Express). Özil is known to be Fenerbahce fan, and he's spoken before about his desire to play for the club at some point in his career. That almost certainly won't be anytime soon though, as he'd be mad to trade Arsenal for European minnows Fenerbahce at this point in his career. The report claims he's already held talks with the Turkish club about a potential move, which in itself is likely to be complete rubbish.
