Ozil denies summer departure with Wenger in charge
Mesut Ozil has hit back at media reports which suggested he would leave the club if Arsene Wenger remained in charge for next season. The Sun wrote that such a scenario would play out, but suggested that the German international could join Sevilla or even Valencia, rather than one of the big boys in La Liga, rather undermining themselves along the way. It smacked of sensationalist nonsense, and when Ozil Tweeted earlier, it was to give his backing to Wenger and put the story back in its box. 'Have seen the media reports today,' he said.
