Boost for Spurs ahead of big Arsenal clash
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed Alexis Sanchez is set to miss this weekend’s North London Derby against Tottenham Hotspur, according to reports from the Daily Star. Sanchez missed last Sunday’s 5-0 thumping over Aston Villa with a hamstring injury, and has now been ruled out by his manager for this Saturday’s clash. Wenger said: 'The latest is that Alexis is not ready. He is not far away, the Leicester game is a possibility. 'He is of course very difficult to keep quiet! He is training but it's light training.'
