Man United forget about Strootman, focus on Arsenal target instead
Manchester United have been linked with a summer move for Bayer Leverkusen star Lars Bender today, with the Mirror stating that the Old Trafford outfit have made the German battler their number one midfield target. The Germany international has been mentioned as a possible target for Arsenal over the years and continues to impress at the BayArena and for his nation. United had initially wanted to reunite Louis van Gaal with compatriot Kevin Strootman, but the Netherlands international has suffered two serious knee injuries in the last 12 months.
