Arsenal open talks for £51.5m mega deal
Arsenal have opened preliminary discussions over a mega new deal for Alexis Sanchez, according to Football Insider. The Chilean forward has been a rousing success ever since his £32m move from Barcelona in the summer of 2014, scoring 22 goals in 48 starts for the Gunners. Despite his superstar status in North London, there have been reports linking him with moves to Manchester City and Real Madrid in recent months. However, Football Insider claims ‘sources' have told them that discussions have begun over a new five-and-a-half-year deal for the 27-year old.
