Nacho Monreal pens new long-term Arsenal contract
Left-back Nacho Monreal has signed a new long-term contract with Premier League leaders Arsenal. Arsenal have not disclosed the length of the new contract, but his previous deal was due to expire in 18 months' time. Speaking to the Gunners' website about extending his stay in North London, Monreal said: "I have a good relationship with my teammates and we keep improving year after year. I wanted to stay here and I could extend my contract. I would like to play here for many more years.
