FC Basel Confirm Mohamed Elneny Set To Join Arsenal
It has been reported that FC Basel have confirmed Mohamed Elneny is on his way to Arsenal. Elneny has passed a Gunners medical and agreed personal terms. However, the deal is dependent on a UK work permit hearing. Basel, meanwhile, explaining Elneny's absence from training, confirmed the midfielder was in talks about a move away yesterday. 'Also absent was Mohamed Elneny, who in the coming days may make a transfer,' announced the official FCB website. Egypt midfielder Elneny has played almost 150 matches for Basel.
