Aston Villa To Battle West Brom For Mathieu Debuchy
It has been revealed that Aston Villa are joining the battle for unsettled Arsenal fullback Mathieu Debuchy. The Sun claims that Debuchy is wanted by Aston Villa and West Brom. The France international has told Arsene Wenger he wants to leave this month as he looks to secure a spot in Didier Deschamps' Euro 2016 squad. Debuchy has made just two league appearances since September with Hector Bellerin Wenger's first choice. And Villa and West Brom are interested in signing him on loan for the remainder of the season with Remi Garde hoping his close relationship with Wenger will see Debuchy end up at Villa Park.
