Mohamed Elneny On The Verge Of Joining Arsenal
It has been reported that FC Basel midfielder Mohamed Elneny is flying into London to complete his move to Arsenal. The Mirror claims that Arsenal have agreed a fee with Basel subject to personal terms and a medical. Talks are understood to be now well advanced and Elneny hopes to complete the switch soon after the transfer window opens. Elneny was allowed to fly home for Christmas but is expected to travel back to London to complete the move to Arsenal. Elneny is not a classic holding midfielder and can be an asset to the squad in the long term without being just a short term fix while Francis Coquelin out injured.
