Report: Arsenal eye Danilo swoop
Arsene Wenger has reportedly identified Danilo as the player to bolster Arsenal's midfield options during next month's transfer window. The Gunners are currently short in that area of the pitch, with Francis Coquelin, Mikel Arteta and Santi Cazorla all sidelined by injuries. Sporting Lisbon's William Carvalho has continually been linked with a switch to the Emirates Stadium, but according to O Jogo, it is his fellow Portugal international Danilo that Wenger will move for. The 24-year-old only joined Porto in the summer from Maritimo.
