Arsenal eye talented Egyptian international Mohamed Elneny to ease midfield crisis
Arsenal are said to be weighing up a move for FC Basel's Egyptian international midfielder Mohamed Elneny in a bid to add more quality to their midfield as well as ease their worries in the troublesome area, according to the Daily Mirror. The Gunners were having the 23-year-old watched last season, but no offer was made, only for him to remerge on their radar ahead of the January transfer window. With the likes of Santi Cazorla, Jack welsher, Francis Coquelin and Mikel Arteta all on the sidelines, Arsene Wenger needs to dip into the transfer market in the new year in order to maintain a meaningful title challenge.
