Wenger confirms Coquelin blow
Arsenal's midfield has taken yet another blow with the news that Francis Coquelin has broken his nose during today's 2-0 win over Everton. The tenacious Frenchman has been a revelation since his recall from a loan with Charlton Athletic late last year, becoming the fulcrum of the Arsenal engine room. He put in another combative performance today at Emirates but unfortunately looks set to miss some matches after suffering a broken nose. The defensive midfielder endured two nasty clashes, one of which was an aerial collision with Olivier Giroud and then again with Steven Naismith, crunching his nose on both occasions.
