Arsenal considering move to sign £21m Monchengladbach midfielder
Arsenal are set to continue scouting Monchengladbach star Granit Xhaka as they consider a move to strengthen their midfield, Metro reports. The 23-year-old has now emerged as a potential candidate to help provide some friendly competition for Francis Coquelin in the middle of the park. Manager Arsene Wenger has been linked with a host of central midfielders ever since the summer, missing out on both William Carvalho and Victor Wanyama, while also seeing Morgan Schneiderlin join Manchester United.
