Stats don't lie: Giroud claims numbers show he's better than Walcott
Speaking to French agency L'Equipe, Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud expressed his opinion that the stats were what mattered for a striker and thus he was a better centre forward than Englishman Theo Walcott (via the Metro). Giroud was, however, quick to admit that Walcott offered variety in attack and that the team's success took priority over individual concerns.
