Arsenal goalkeeper reveals difficulty in befriending rival team-mate
Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina has revealed that it is difficult to become friends with his team-mate Wojciech Szczesny, according to reports from the Daily Star. Ospina recently overthrew Szczesny as the club’s number one shot-stopper, with the Colombian playing in the Gunners’ last six Premier League fixtures as well as last night’s 3-1 home defeat to Monaco in the Champions League round-of-sixteen. Szczesny has been Arsenal’s first-choice goalkeeper the past few seasons, but indifferent form earlier in the campaign and being caught smoking in the Southampton bathroom finally made manager Arsene Wenger drop the Poland international onto the bench.
