Wenger Hits Back Angrily To Criticism During Arsenal AGM
It has been reported that Arsene Wenger has responded angrily to criticism levelled at him during the annual general meeting of Arsenal shareholders on Thursday. One shareholder made the most of the open mike portion of the meeting, addressing Wenger while asking: 'Monaco – embarrassing. Anderlecht – embarrassing. And against the Greek team [Olympiakos] – embarrassing. Why didn't you strengthen the team?' The question received rapturous applause from those in attendance, before Wenger responded in turn.
