Arsene Wenger Pleased With ‘Important' Win Over Newcastle United
It has been reported that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger was pleased to collect three points from Tyneside after a 1-0 win at Newcastle United today. The Gunners scored early in the second half when Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's angled drive found its way through Fabricio Coloccini's legs and past Tim Krul in the Toon goal. Newcastle were on the back foot from the 16 minute mark after Aleksandar Mitrovic was harshly sent off by ref Andre Marriner for an apparent stamp on Arsenal midfielder Francis Coquelin.
