Wenger insists ‘wonderful' transfer linked Arsenal star is ‘completely committed'
Unsurprisingly, Arsene Wenger has rubbished reports that record signing Mesut Özil could leave the club this summer, insisting the German is committed to Arsenal and has no intention of leaving, as reported by The Telegraph. The World Cup winner was recently linked with a rather bizarre move to Turkish side Besiktas, with preliminary talks apparently already underway (via the Mirror). Few believed there was any chance of this move actually going through however, and the rumour was largely ignored.
