Wenger reveals Arsenal superstar had choices before joining the Gunners
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that before Alexis Sanchez made the move to the Emirates, there were several other clubs making offers for the Chile international, according to reports from Goal.com. Liverpool were close to signing Sanchez at the beginning of the campaign, but the former Barcelona star chose to join Wenger’s side instead. And Wenger explained that the 26-year-old was extremely keen on joining Arsenal because the club is somewhere that Sanchez wanted to play at.
