Arsenal Launch £24.4M Bid For Barcelona Midfielder Sergio Busquets
Reports are out claiming that Arsenal have made an offer for Sergio Busquets. According to reports from Spanish publication Fichajes, the Gunners have made an opening bid of £24.4million for the Barcelona star. It is understood that Arsene Wenger is determined to lure a top quality defensive midfielder to the Emirates Stadium and is prepared to match Spain international Busquets' enormous salary. Both Barcelona and the 27-year-old do not want to end their association which has yielded five La Liga titles and three Champions League trophies among others, but the Gunners are willing to part with a massive transfer fee in a bid to land their man, according to varied reports.
