Arsenal star confirms Emirates exit
Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny confirmed through his Instagram page that he's set to join Roma this summer, with Arsene Wenger previously indicating that a deal was close. The boss left Szczesny out of the Emirates Cup squad this weekend and revealed that the 25-year-old would soon be joining the Serie A side on loan. 'He could go on loan to Roma. We are pretty much done – it is down to paperwork,' the boss was quoted as saying in The Guardian. After watching the game at the Emirates Stadium against VfL Wolfsburg on Sunday, Szczesny now seems on his way to Rome in order to complete his move.
