Besiktas Launching Bid For Arsenal's Danny Welbeck
It has been reported that Besiktas are moving for Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck. The Daily Star Sunday claims that Welbeck is an audacious target for Besiktas as they look to replace Demba Ba. England star Welbeck, 24, had a mixed first season with Arsenal following his shock £16m move from Manchester United. He has been out with a knee injury since April and missed the club's Asian tour. With Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain returning to fitness Arsenal are well-stocked with strikers and Besiktas's interest in Welbeck might hit the right notes.
