Wenger wants to challenge Chelsea for £35m rated Arsenal target
Manchester City and Chelsea were apparently battling it out for Real Madrid's Isco, but Arsene Wenger is ready to challenge the cash rich duo for his signature, according to the Express. The 23-year-old is unquestionably talented, and has shown glimpses of sheer brilliance since his move to the Bernabeu. He has failed to hold down a regular starting spot however, which is hardly surprising considering the competition he's facing. It's understandable that the Spaniard may be looking for an exit this summer, with his playing time likely to be restricted next season once again.
