Arsenal icon could miss Emirates cup after being labeled too unfit
Former Arsenal star and cult hero Nicklas Bendtner could miss the Emirates cup this summer, with the great Dane told by VfL Wolfsburg chiefs that he is too unfit to feature, as reported by ITV. The report claims that Bendtner continues to 'clearly lag behind' his Bundesliga teammates, with director of sport Klaus Allofs insisting that he won't be allowed to play until he reaches the required level of fitness. 'The demands on a footballer in Germany are different to in England or in Denmark,' Aloffs said. 'If anybody wants to play for us then they can follow us.
