Arsenal's midfield star plans showdown talks with Arsene Wenger
Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has revealed that he will have talks with Arsene Wenger about where the boss sees him in the team, with competition for places intense in midfield, the Mirror reports. Wilshere started in an advanced midfield position against Singapore Select XI, a position usually reserved for Mesut Ozil, and has stated that he's up for the challenge. Despite the wealth of options available to Wenger, it seems as though most are playing for the right to partner Francis Coquelin, with the Frenchman the only player of his type in our squad.
