Arsenal to reward David Luiz with new contract?
Arsenal defender David Luiz could reportedly be in line for a one-year contract extension at the Emirates Stadium. Despite making a number of high-profile errors in red and white, Mikel Arteta has not lost faith in Luiz and he remains a first-team regular even after the arrival of Gabriel Magalhaes. The former Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain centre-back is also known to be a respected character in the dressing room, and Arteta has supposedly been impressed at how Luiz has taken the youngsters under his wing. Luiz's deal in North London runs out this summer and he has been widely tipped to leave, but according to The Independent, Arteta wants to keep him on the books for the 2021-22...
