Arsenal star proves doubters wrong with sublime moment in Newcastle thumping
Arsenal star Cedric Soares appears to have proven his doubters wrong and won over fans with a brilliant moment in the win over Newcastle on Monday night. Cedric was handed a very rare start in the 3-0 thumping of Steve Bruce’s Toon side, his first of the season in the Premier League. The Portugal international was brought in for £5m over the summer from Southampton after a solid six month loan spell last season. But fans so far seem to have been unimpressed by his performances on the pitch, with the majority of his game time coming in the Europa League against poorer opposition.
