Arteta fires at Balogun's agent as Arsenal youngster nears transfer exit
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has claimed Folarin Balogun's agent has hindered the player's contract talks, with the teenage prospect reportedly close to agreeing an exit. Balogun is out of contract with the Gunners in the summer and able to negotiate a pre-contract agreement with foreign clubs. Asked about the player's contract situation at his pre-match press conference ahead of the FA Cup clash with Newcastle, Arteta hit out at Balogun's agent. 'You need three parties to make a deal,' Arteta said. 'For sure, the club wants to make a deal, the manager wants to make a deal, the player wants to stay and I'm not sure about the agent.'
