Paul Scholes criticises Fred, Scott McTominay following Arsenal loss
Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes has criticised the performances of Fred and Scott McTominay during Sunday's Premier League clash with Arsenal. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored the only goal of the contest as the Gunners recorded a 1-0 victory at Old Trafford, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side failing to build on their recent positive results. Fred and McTominay were the deepest of United's midfielders against Mikel Arteta's side, and Scholes has said that the pair did not offer enough in a key area of the field.
