Lyon star Houssem Aouar 'not unhappy' about Arsenal transfer falling through
Lyon star Houssem Aouar insists he is not disappointed that his potential summer move to Arsenal did not materialise. The Gunners were regularly linked with a transfer for the midfielder though instead signed Thomas Partey from Atletico Madrid on Deadline Day. Arsenal had been interested in Partey throughout the window though seemed to favour a move for Aouar as time went on. However they could not tempt Lyon into selling, having at least one offer rejected, and returned for Partey at the last minute.
