Sanchez crowned Arsenal's player of the year
Arsenal have revealed that the club's supporters have voted Alexis Sanchez as their player of the season by an overwhelming margin. The Chile international, who is currently preparing for the Copa America on home turf, secured 66.4% of the vote, beating off competition from Francis Coquelin and Santi Cazorla. Sanchez, 26, wowed the Emirates crowd during his debut season, scoring 25 goals in 52 appearances as the Gunners secured a second successive FA Cup triumph and a third place finish in the Premier League.
