Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud INJURED on international duty with France
WORRYING: Giroud was spotted on crutches while on international duty with France [GETTY] The striker went down holding his calf during a practice yesterday and, as French radio station RMC are reporting, had to leave the field on crutches. Reports say the player was spotted 'limping and grimacing' as he made is way to a car which took him away to be assessed. Giroud started and played 80 minutes of France's 4-3 defeat to Belgium on Sunday. France play a friendly against Albania on Saturday and boss Didier Deschamps is now expected to release the striker from international duty.
