Jack Wilshere 'disappointed' by England display
Jack Wilshere has admitted that England will need to improve on their abject display against the Republic of Ireland if they are to bounce back with a victory in their next outing. The Three Lions played out an underwhelming goalless draw at the Aviva Stadium this afternoon, in a friendly that saw limited chances for either side. Many England players have enjoyed a prolonged spell away from the field in recent weeks following the conclusion of the Premier League campaign, and Wilshere is confident that the performance against Slovenia will improve as a result of today's run-out.
