Serge Gnabry eyes first-team role next season
The Germany Under-21 winger has been out of action since March 2014 with a knee injury, but is now back to full fitness. The 20-year-old recently starred in the Under-21s 4-0 win over Wolves, scoring a goal and setting two up, but is now keen to make the step up to the senior side. “I’m hoping to make an impact in pre-season to get the manager to see that I’m back on track again,” the 20-year-old said. “I’m hoping that this pre-season goes well for me and that I can establish myself.
